Great hikeEven if you don't go all the way to the summit, the hike to Panhandle Gap is a marvel in itself. But who can resist ambling up the gentle slopes to the striking summit overlooking the Sarvent Glacier? I had a handful of the best salmonberries I have ever eaten on the way down.

Easy garden walkThis is almost like Colorado scrambling. Hike through fields of grass and lupine. Hardest part is hike to Panhandle Gap, which is usually snowy until at least August.
