Beautiful hikeJust as steep as advertised, the trail is actually very good all the way to the summit. Saw a couple of Pikas and got a good bit of solitude starting at 6am.

Short and BrutishYup...it's short. Nope, it's not easy. 1000+ feet vertical climb per mile, slick mud slopes, and ankle breaking rocks. Great route if you want alot of climb in a short period.

GreatA steep ascent / descent but very fun. Plenty of Moose too.
