"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

First Utah TripAbout ten years ago my buddy who used to live in Moab showed me around to some of his favorite places in southeastern Utah. Our first backpack trip was the Fish & Owl Loop and it was great! We started down Owl Creek Canyon and camped near Nevill's Arch, then hiked over to McCloyd Canyon for another night, and then back out through Fish Creek Canyon the third day. What an amazing first experience in Canyon Country! I hear its very popular now and there are more rules and restrictions, but I'm sure it is still beautiful!
