West sideRichard Carey and I followed the Dennis Poulin directions as found on Peakbagger. We didn't get to south juniper spring but we did get within a half mile of it and was 400 feet lower which put us a thousand feet lower than the summit. Dennis mentioned getting to a saddle where he stopped and that was the same saddle where we parked and called it our trailhead. We had done Hannan Range H.P. earlier so this was our second peak of the day. We waited till it got a bit cooler and didn't begin our hike until after 4 pm

West SideHit the dirt roads at the north end of Winnemucca Lake off NV 447. It's a long drive but over mostly good roads. Lots of Mustangs, a few wild burros and a very easy hike up.
