"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Carlsberg ColumnClimbed Carlsberg Column with Peter and Steve. Peter did all the leading, and we did the route in two pitches. A bolted belay was on the right about halfway up, and there was a tree on top (double 60m's reached the ground no problem).
Temps had been warm the previous day, and the whole area seemed soggy. Soft-shell gear utterly soaked. The "ice" was a slushfest, but Peter led it like a champ. We guessed it was about WI4+/WI5- in those conditions.

Wet, wet, wetClimbed with Peter Valchev and Rob Yang. Water was pouring down the route. Good day to wear Gore-Tex. The climbing was easy, if not a bit pumpy. Pro seemed a kinda iffy. Glad Peter was leading. The rap off was indeed memorable.

Guinness GullyCold as hell this particular day, but 5 star route. Good ice and all three pitches were challenging for the grade. Definitely recommend it. Look forward to going back to the Beer routes soon.
