"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Agreed, super v.diffClimbed with my then fiancé Leila and also old climbing partner (dating back 20 years) Jon. Have had to guess at the date - but I think the year is right and it was summer!
Fine remote route, which we accessed from Ogwen side, with Jon setting his usual blistering pace up to the pass. I led the climb - and then we traversed the Carnedds and descended via Pen Yr Ole... ('the old man with the white head' - can't spell the welsh name!).
I'd forgotten the name of the climb but recognised the photos - especially the 'gendarme section' - reminiscent of the easier 'Pinnacle Ridge' in the Lake District (St Sunday Crag). And I remembered it was over 300m long!

Super V.DiffA really nice route, if a little easy for the grade. Lovely climbing mind you.
We did as a group of 3, each sharing the lead. I took the crux but Tom took the pinnacles; the pinnacles were more fun!
