Lots and lots of avy danger along the approach. So much so that we decided on an alternate descent that took us all the way down to Alma. Oops. We encountered lots of private property signs while trying to access the summit. It was tough to find a way around without trespassing.

Short walk from parking area
Some combination of being alone, not feeling well and tremendously cold, powerful winds (even my dog was miserable) told me to turn back less than 1/4 mile from the summit of Mount Bross. So, I visited the relative calm and warmth of Windy Ridge as a pleasant consolation prize.
