It is really an incredible peak. I consider myself have seen a lot of mountains, but the north face of Dychtau is for sure on the top 5 list of impressive sights.

Thanks for the appreciation. It's hard to see the size of this avalanche on the photo. It was enormous and the ground shook hard when it hit the glacier at the bottom. Remember that face is almost 2km high and that says a lot about the size of the avalanche.
