Zero...
... visibility :) Standing near the summit cross and cannot see the hut. Nice tour from Kartnerhof.

via Kaltenbachgraben
The trail was sometimes very icy (from skis), but even when narrow, it had melted enough on the sides that snowshoes were not necessary. Nice little stop at the front room of Karl Lechner haus (which was open despite the hut itself being closed). Perfect weather, mild wind, fantastic views from the summit.

via Steinbach valley
Fairly warm, snow melting, but strong winds above treeline and limited visibility from the summit. Snowshoes were not really needed.

From Pfaffensattel
Unsuccessful attempt from Pfaffensattel because of the deep and wet snow, and because of the complains of my wife. Return from Spitaler Alm (1522 m ASL)
Route Climbed: Kaltenbachgraben Date Climbed: 25th January 2004
My very first ski tour, a good mountain to start with, an easy route. It was stormy up there, but the route was not hard to find. Many people on the trip, considering the weather.
