Reference manualPros and cons of the book:
Pros; extremly extensive, this is not a book aimed to decorate your bookshelf, it is a reference manual ment to be taken into hands and browsed all over again by anyone involved into any serious research of Mt. Everest history and facts
cons; seems that author had some trouble regarding names. That is especially true regarding Slav names, many Russian, Polish and Yugoslav names are simply typed incorrect.
That apart, Unsworth's book has 30 pages of notes and references
and by this date it is considered by many the ultimate Everest reference book itself.
