Re: Is that...Possibly. Dan D Line is 5.6, but it runs on the right hand side of the dihedral, judging from the picture in Rossiter's guide. (I've only climbed at Nip and Tuck once. I'm in no way an expert.)

Re: Is that...Is the line to the left you have in mind Hare Balls? Funny that such a popular area should have unnamed obvious routes. The one time I climbed there, we did Hypotenuse as well as a crack directly to its right that is in neither Rossiter's nor Rolofson's guides.

Re: Look ...From the perspective of the photographer, it's an awesome view. If you're trying to say "what's the big deal, the route is not vertical", who cares? I don't think the point is "look I just soloed an extreme route." it is a very cool pic

?I'm not sure what the route went at. I thought it was maybe 5.2/5.3/5.4, someone said 5.7 but I wasn't feeling that at all. I climbed it before on top rope and it was super easy on really solid rock. My friend was at the top of the route tearing down anchors. When I climbed up to where she could see me she said, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" Then she started taking photos. Givin the the photographer was at the top of the route, it looks steeper than it is in the photo. I only soloed it because I knew that I could. Since that photo was taken 2 years ago, I've soloed maybe 8-10 routes. It's not something I make a habit of anymore. Like Dingus said, I'm also prefectly happy climbing peaks without rope that go at 3rd-4th class and don't get the urge as much to do this sort of thing.

commentsSome have said its a picture not worthy! I recon its a great shot. I tried to get some recently in a similar location, but all looked crap. So its good, and yes the attire makes it even better. So what.
Keep up the good work. I like it.

Re: Correct AngleProper? Nah, I think they're both equally good ways to orient the photo. When you shoot down like that, there often is no "proper" way -- and it often looks really cool (like in this case).
Nice photo.

Funny, Funny BoysDudes! You crack me up. Bet you wouldn't be complaining if we were mud wrestling over it.
Come on now, you gotta admit there were some questions to be answered - and they got answered. And plenty of people asking were men... So gimme a break - I'm a girly climber too.
