Beautiful intersection of land, sea, native flora, and classic architecture. Interesting management scheme by the NPS, too.
Had a great day of hitting every short hike, tourist point, and abandoned artillery site in the area. Go early to beat the crowds, check the website to make sure the lighthouse is open (they opened it at 1230 the day we went)
Hiked out here several times and went on one (short) overnighter, stayed at Haypress Campground
A great place for rugged coastline hiking, sunsets and great views of SF area.
