Lummi
Road/trail just about peters out where the gpx track takes a hard turn to the south. But if you start up into the brush you can see that others have been there before and follow the rough track.

Lummi
Not sure if I took the 'right' way, but I managed to find the top. I took the old road bed until I was near an old, abandoned bulldozer. From there, I was able to follow game trail most of the way to the top. Beautiful area, but make sure you wear long pants in the spring and summer near the top, as there is stinging nettle everywhere.

Lummi
I visited WA's 2nd highest island on a rainy rainy day. That turned out to be a good choice as the trail is pleasant and for a trip in the dead of winter it was just fine. We too barely made the ferry over so we got lucky in that regard.

Lummi Point is definite worth the visit. The tip there is pretty and although the summit doesn't have views, there are a number of views along the cliffs.

Island Peakbagging, Ferry Madness
With a bad weather forecast entering the weekend, EastKing and I were looking for a good winter choice. We found it, although in an unexpected area. The summit route was straightforward. The weather ended up being great, although with a strong cold wind. The summit area had little-to-no outward views. The most memorable part of the trip was the ferry aspect, where we *barely* made the ferry each way but with in-sync music playing to capture the moment.
