East Face / East Ridge
What an awesome climb. The smooth slabs near the end of the ridge pushed the limits of what I was comfortable climbing, so we made a gnarly traverse over to the face and continued to the top from there. The heat, along with a little bushwhacking on a side trail at the beginning, made this one of the more tiring hikes I've been on. Surprisingly, Timberline Lake was still completely snow-covered (basin below Buck and Static was very scenic), and there were all sorts of nice wildflowers at various elevations along the way. See "Pushing My Limits" trip report for details.

East Ridge
We climbed up most of the East Ridge, but near the end decided to move over to the East Face route. It was a bit difficult to traverse over to the East Face and we were glad to get there safe and sound. The views from the East Ridge are amazing and so is the exposure.

Great Time
Did this route with Tim Worth on a perfect day - great scrambling moves and the exposure off to the north is epic!
