Route Climbed: Rock Route (ascent) / Starr's Route (descent) Date Climbed: Aug 19, 2002
Day 3 of the 2002 Mountaineers Challenge. Three of us started out, two made it to the summit. 11hrs CTC from Agnews Meadow. A truly fun, exposed, and exciting climb! Trip Report.
Route Climbed: Southeast Buttress IV 5.9 Date Climbed: August 13 2000
The MOST AMAZING route I've done in the Sierras!!! Bold, exposed, refreshing!! The direct start (2 pitches of blocky 5.9) was the highlight! This is truly a 4 star backcountry route. I'll have to post some pictures to the page. Honor and thanks go to Clyde, Dawson and Starr....pioneers and true gladiators! I highly recommend this peak (all of it's routes).
