Took advantage of the Indian summer and bagged this one. Fantastic class 3 climb with some route searching involved. Easy ridge walk led to a false summit and then the final pitch to the summit. Wonderful views of the bells and the basin. This was truly satisfying. Highly recommended, especially if your trying a class 3 for the first time. Thrilling.
Solo climb from the West Maroon TH (Crested Butte side). Fun scrambling from West Maroon Pass and fantastic scenery. Capped it off by running the long ridge to Mount Bellview, a nearby 12er with a strangely similar name.
