Standard route
Makes a great one-two punch with Vestal! The rock did get a little tedious near the top but some really decent scrambling! The rock on the mountain is incredable.

Some of the best scrambling in the state
Climbed the standard route on Arrow as dessert after Vestal's Wham Ridge. I thought that the cool ramp system was almost us fun as Wham Ridge. These two peaks are so unique!
watch out for the summit mountain goat trundling rocks down the ramp

One of the best standard routes!
This was awesome. Scrambling on cruiser rock. Nice summit, great views. This is why I climb.

Some of the best views ever from this summit. My friend's dog even made it up to the top!?!?!
I never do these summit logs, but Arrow was probably the most satisfying climb I've accomplished. Last year I turned back while climbing alone on the ramp because a late summer storm had left a lot of snow on the route. I sat out that storm for two days staring at the ramp and my nerves were shot for the climb. It really bothered me because the route was certainly within my abilities. This year I ran up the route without any hesitation, which helped shake loose the nagging self doubt I've felt for the last 10 months. The mountain itself is in my opinion the most startling and unique peak in the state.

I really enjoyed the standard route on Arrow, and what a splendid summit! If your party is planning on climbing the Wham Ridge, add at least an hour to be spent gawking to your time estimate ;-D
